Every 18 seconds, a child becomes an orphan. Lets not forget about them.

The children who are available for adoption in Ukraine are not allowed to be photographed and "published" for view due to current Ukrainian laws. This is meant to protect the children and eliminate the chances of unethical or illegal adoptions . That is why in my slide show you will not see any full view faces of the children from the desky dom.

what a difference 6 months make...

6 months later.

This picture was taken on 12/1/06, the day after court. These three little girls didn't know it, but their lives were about to completely change.

Looking at everyones blog, you can really see what a difference there is just in these last 6 months. It is amazing!!!

I really can't believe how much all three girls have changed. Not just grown...really changed! You can see their contented eyes. I think that's what I have noticed most. Happy children...happy thriving children! It makes me smile all over!!
