Every 18 seconds, a child becomes an orphan. Lets not forget about them.

The children who are available for adoption in Ukraine are not allowed to be photographed and "published" for view due to current Ukrainian laws. This is meant to protect the children and eliminate the chances of unethical or illegal adoptions . That is why in my slide show you will not see any full view faces of the children from the desky dom.

The emotions

Today was different!
I am so happy that this is finally happening, but today I was tired....and scared. I did not get any sleep, my mind ran a million miles a minute. I was also wide awake at 5am - which for me, is not common. Getting up anytime before 8am is normally torture to me. (guess I better get use to it) but my mind hasn't stopped all day.

I am very organized and I already have my "lists of things to do". I made it months ago hoping it would come in handy during my days of crisis, but I have no clue where to start!! This weekend is the prep rally!!! I will sit down, lay everything out, and break out the highlighter....away we'll go! At least I hope!!??

Don't give up on those prayers just yet! Believe me, I still em'.
