In 2004 we made the decision to start our family by adopting from Ukraine. It took 1 yr, 11 mons, and 21 days, but in November of 2006 we were finally united with our daughter. Though the journey was a long and exhausting one, she was well worth the wait. Feel free to read her story...from the very begining through her first year home. Welcome to the Warchol Adoption.
Every 18 seconds, a child becomes an orphan. Lets not forget about them.
The children who are available for adoption in Ukraine are not allowed to be photographed and "published" for view due to current Ukrainian laws. This is meant to protect the children and eliminate the chances of unethical or illegal adoptions . That is why in my slide show you will not see any full view faces of the children from the desky dom.

Meet Gene...
Gene Sagin was our regional translator while in Ukraine, and he is now a life long friend. He helped us along our journey and made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable while in Ukraine. He has a big heart, loves his job and loves the children of Ukraine. We are and will forever be grateful for his hard work and dedication. We will one day return to this great country and reunite with the man that lead us to our daughter.
Gene works to complete bio-family searches throughout all of Ukraine and is very reasonable with his fees. He also is willing to assist families as a translator/guide for those who just want to visit Ukraine. What a gorgeous girl!
See, all that worrying that Christmas was going to be too overwhelming with all those gifts. I'm telling you, childern all around the world are born with gift unwrapping instincts:-) Timmy had a great Christmas, too. We put his Wrestle Mania ticket in a wrestlers hand (one he's been wanting for 6 months, Eddie almost had to beat someone up because it was the last one LOL) and put it in a cookie tin wrapped up. He was soooo happy! We waited until all the other gifts were open. Watching their little faces light up is so much fun! Happy New Year to you guys! Come visit soon.
